Everyone craves a good burger. And if you don’t—then you haven’t tried one from our list of the top 50 burgers in America. In honor of National Burger Month, we decided to put together this glorious list of patties worth taking a road trip for. And we didn’t just throw together a list—no, no, Yelpers just happen to be burger connoisseurs. How did these top spots cut the mustard? We identified restaurants with a large concentration of positive burger reviews over the past year and then ranked the list using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews. We can feel your eyes glazing over from here—but trust us—we’ve done our research.
We suggest taste testing from the top 10, and then working your way down. You can thank us later.
Top 50 Burger Spots on Yelp
1. Corner Grille
This tucked away gem might be tiny, but they’ve got some big flavor. Seriously, if we only had one more meal, it would be their Galbi Burger. They also deliver, so we wouldn’t even have to leave the house. (Double score.)

2. Bunz
Bunz’s Bacon-Cheeze Burger is something a town would build a monument for. The buns are thick and fluffy. The veggies, crisp and refreshing. The best part? They don’t skimp on bacon. What more could we ask for?

3. Hippo Burgers
There’s just something about a homemade burger. But, who has the time for that? Just go to Hippo Burgers and get their classic burger and sweet potato fries. It left us wondering why we ever even attempted grilling our own.

4. Pete’s Frites
Pete’s doesn’t just make any plain burger. They take it up a notch, using multiple cuts of premium New Mexico beef, including: brisket, prime rib, and sirloin. Oh—an insider tip—never pass up adding green chili and cheese. We repeat, never.

5. Gilbert’s 17th Street Grill
In the burger game, consistency is king, and this family-owned restaurant does not disappoint. Their burger is always cooked perfectly and dripping in flavor. They also accept reservations through Yelp. So book now—you’ll be glad you did.

6. Diesel and Duke
It’s a small place, so definitely grab a reservation. Anyways—back to the food—you gotta get their Bacon Shroom Burger, loaded up with bacon, mushrooms, and mozzarella. Don’t forget to ask for a side of napkins, because this burger is seriously juicy.

7. Coyote Bluff Cafe
Delicious burger. Good, ice cold beer. Friendly service. Do we even need to go on? Well, we will, because we’re chatty like that. But for real, this is your no-nonsense burger. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles like some of the burgers we see now, but dang is it good.

8. PDX Sliders
This place throws everything but the kitchen sink onto their burgers—and we couldn’t be more delighted. A slider with goat cheese, strawberry preserves, and bacon? That’s just straight up art on a plate.

9. Street Burger
So, we get it, you love burgers. You’ve read this far. But what about veggie burgers? Street Burger had us saying yes. Topped with brie, arugula, and garlic aioli—so good. Oh, and don’t forget to get some garlic parmesan fries with their homemade ketchup!

10. Burgers and Things
Can words do these burgers justice? The reviews paint a delicious pic, but nothing compares to eating them IRL. Seriously, they are life changing. That’s right, life changing. The Wagyu Say?! Burger is so perfectly cooked and juicy it’ll leave you speechless.
