Yelp Fights for Free Speech at the House of Representatives

Today, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice is holding a hearing on the SPEAK FREE Act of 2015. This legislation will bolster our First Amendment protections, ensuring that honest speakers have a way to quickly and economically end meritless lawsuits that target them for what they’ve said online — on review platforms like Yelp, social media networks, blogs, and more — as well as offline. As a company that is dedicated to protecting free speech, we’re excited that Yelp’s Senior Director of Litigation, Aaron Schur, is testifying before the subcommittee. Read Aaron’s testimony or watch the hearing live starting at 1pm ET / 10am PT.
