Top pie spots across the US and Canada

Pi: It’s that mathematical ratio of a circle’s radius to its circumference. In decimal form, it begins 3.14. 

Pie: That magical, circular dessert that radiates happiness from within its circumference and takes less than 3.14 seconds to devour.

Once a year, on Pi Day (3.14 is March 14th, get it?) these two phenomenon come together and we go banana cream to get our hands on the best slice of pie we can find.

This year, we cut through the Yelp data to find the top pie shops in every US State and Canadian province. Think of them as the upper crust. The (whipped) cream of the crop. 

We limited our search to sweet pies in any sized round shape, or the trendy hand pies, but that doesn’t mean we don’t also love those savory pie shops we discovered along the way (looking at you, Waltzing Kangaroo). From berries to buttermilk, and chocolate to coconut cream, you’re sure to find a new pie spot to circle as your favorite!
