Österreich: Die Heimat der Von Trapp Familie, Mozart und tausenden erstaunlichen lokalen Unternehmen, die jetzt auch auf der österreichischen Yelp Webseite gefunden werden können! Obwohl wir keine tanzenden Nonnen aufweisen können (und die Gesangleistungen von Jeremy sind fraglich), haben wir jedoch über 38 Millionen Yelpers, die über 13 Millionen Bewertungen im neuen Yelp-Land schreiben, oder wie war das nochmal, Singen!
Nach Frankreich und Deutschland wird nun Österreich, mit seinem heutigen Start, neustes Failienmitglied der „Yelp Family“. Österreicher haben ab jetzt nicht nur Zugang zu Yelp.at Seite, wo sie Bewertungen zu den lokalen Unternehmen in ihrer Muttersprache miteinander teilen können, sondern auch zu der neuen, beliebten Yelp IPhone Applikation um nahegelegene Boutiquen zu finden. (Nebenbemerkung: Diese IPhone Applikation existiert jetzt auch in Deutschland!)
Wiener Schnitzel sind köstlich und wir wissen dass in Österreich unzählige lokale Edelsteine versteckty sind. Viele davon sind bereits von unser Yelp Gemeinde entdeckt und bewertet worden, so zB: Sax & Co, eine niedlicher Laden, die Vollkornbäckerei Kornradl, eine winzige Bäckerei, wo der Eigentümer noch vor seinem Kunden sein Brot bäckt oder auch Schon Schön, ein Unternehmen das drei Läden in einem bietet: ein Restaurant, ein Friseur und ein Bekleidungsgeschäft. Dies ist nur ein Vorgeschmack dessen, was Österreich zu bieten hat, und wir können nicht abwarten, zu sehen wie lautstark die EinhEimischen Yelp online nutzen und weiterführen werden!
Was uns betrifft, , werden wir uns nicht auf unseren Lorbeeren ausruhen und erwarten bald noch mehr von Yelp in Europa zu sehen! Und in der Zwischenzeit: Stellen wir ein!

The Hills are Alive with the Sound of… Yelp!
Austria: home to the Von Trapps, Mozart and thousands of amazing local businesses that can now be found on Yelp Austria! While we may not have dancing nuns (and Jeremy’s singing voice is questionable, at best), what we do have is over 38 million yelpers that are now bringing their chorus of 13 million reviews to our newest country!
Following in the footsteps of France and Germany, today’s launch makes Austria the newest member to the Yelp family. In addition to being able to access Yelp.at to read and share reviews about great local businesses in their native language, Austrians are also able to leverage our wildly popular iPhone application to discover what’s around them (sidenote: the app is now also available in Germany, too!)
While Wiener Schnitzel is delicious, we know Austria is full of all sorts of local gems, many of which have already been highlighted by our Yelp community, such as: Sax&Co, a cute stationary store; Vollkornbäckerei Kornradl, a tiny bakery where the owner still bakes his bread in front of his customers or Schon Schön which offers 3 shops in 1: a restaurant, hairdresser and clothing store. This is just a taste of what Austria has to offer, and we can’t wait to see how vocal locals will continue to leverage Yelp online, and off!
As for us, we’re not resting on our laurels; expect to see even more of Yelp in Europe soon! And in the meantime: we’re hiring!
