Not once, but twice in 2017 have we dug to the depths of Yelp data to find the best pieces of piquant pie in the U.S.; Both Buzzfeed and Refinery29 were interested in learning which pies “take the cake” in each state (and of course, Washington DC). Each state had a plethora of different sweet spots to choose from for delicious sliced bliss. Things change fast in the local business world, so while some spots may repeat appearances on both lists, new pie favorites popped up over the course of the year.
