Today, we’re introducing Yelp’s refreshed logo and our reimagined suite of app icons. Our latest updates are part of the continued roll out of our new modernized platform.
Yelp started as a discovery and review site and has since grown into a one-stop local platform where people can easily discover, connect and transact with great businesses in their communities. Our new look updates the Yelp product experience to feel simple, modern, and cohesive. Whether you’re requesting quotes for a home project, booking an appointment, joining a restaurant’s waitlist, or ordering takeout, you’ll discover that our redesigned consumer experience streamlines all of these connections.
We are refreshing Yelp’s logo to bring a more contemporary look that maintains the fun, outgoing brand personality and mirrors the major advances we’ve made to modernize our platform. Now, when our users launch the Yelp app, they’ll also notice a new playful animation that includes our new logo.
Yelp’s new suite of app icons will be rolling out today on iOS, and to Android devices later this week. Our consumers will still see our iconic red in the new app icon, now more visually vibrant with a fresh look.
For business owners that use the Yelp for Business, Waitlist or Reservations apps, we’ve updated the icon design to make our local business apps feel more consistent as a group.
