Digital literacy—an individual’s ability to find, evaluate, and compose clear information through writing and other media on various digital platforms—has become even more crucial in the last year. Organizations like Byte Back are ensuring more adults have the chance for free tech training and a pathway to a successful career.
As part of our Women’s History Month celebration, Miriam Warren, our Chief Diversity Officer, sat with Byte Back CEO, Elizabeth Lindsey to discuss Byte Back’s mission with over 200 of our employees. Additionally, Elizabeth pulled back the curtains and shared her personal experiences in the nonprofit world as a Black, queer, and feminist parent. Miriam and Elizabeth talked at length about their passion for supporting communities of color and reaching equity in across sectors.
