50 Yelp Elites and a few plus ones gathered for a White Party at Hoboken's Barsky Gallery. The wine and bubbles were flowing, as was the art, conversations and meatballs! Garreth G "got to use the words like "hue" "abstract" "depth" and "balanced". Talking about art was kind of like talking about delicious foods." Not only that, with everyone dressed in all white, Garreth "felt important like Bruce Wayne." Priti K mused over the art that Barsky shows with favorites including the paingintg of "a skull and the words 'fun when inhabited by a soul.' The dark ballet ones that Marissa and I discussed over white wine (like true art lovers do) were fantastic, too." Allie D "was impressed by the variety of art on display on the walls as well as in the art books on the table. There was a nice contrast between the styles on display, making the space more widely appealing."
And the food? New food truck to the scene, incrediBalls offered up some tasty treats in ball form. Bloss C's a "lover of balls that does not involve meat. The veggie balls had a very Quinoa texture and taste to them." For carnivore Alex S, "the polpette was my favorite, and even the most discerning meatball lovers (myself and Evan included) were won over. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness and the cheese spread was a great touch."
Until next time, SYOY!
