All the businesses on this list are in the restaurants and food categories on Yelp. “Best” is measured using an algorithm that looks at the number of reviews and star rating for a business between January 1, 2018 and March 8, 2019. This list looked at businesses in the cities of Birmingham, Homewood, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Irondale, Bessemer, Leeds, Pelham, Fultondale, and Gardendale.
