Yelp’s Top 25 Places To Eat In 2018: Salt Lake City

Break out your stretchy pants, because we’re excited to announce Yelp’s Top 25 Places To Eat In Salt Lake City for 2018! We’ve combed through the reviews and compiled a list of restaurants and eateries that were hot hot hot in 2017, and just waiting for you to try them this year. This isn’t simply a list of the highest rated restaurants (you can just search Yelp for that), but more of a “momentum list” of places to try, generated by what’s been hot in ’17. Be sure to read about our methodology below.

Discover a new, off-the-beaten path neighborhood joint. Visit a venerable old spot that continues to crush it. The selections on this list are as diverse as our great city. From unassuming Middle Eastern eateries, to quadruple-dollar-sign Italian restaurants, you’re bound to find something to bookmark. Afghan, Indian, Belgian, Mexican, Vietnamese — the variety is global. And there are four dedicated vegan spots on the list, which reflects that surge in new vegan businesses we saw in 2017. Check it out!

Methodology: This is a list of the best restaurants in SLC  of 2017 according to Yelp. All of the businesses on this list are located in Salt Lake City/South Salt Lake, in the Restaurant or Food categories on Yelp, and are places where one can eat a full meal. “Best” is measured using an algorithm that looks at the number of reviews and star rating for a business in 2017.
