Yelp’s Storybook Soirée at The Jacksonville Public Library

Once upon a time… 450 Yelpers donned their favorite storybook costumes at The Jacksonville Public Library for a sensory overload experience of larger-than-life proportions. 40 of Jacksonville’s most loved businesses set up shop throughout the Library’s three main floors dishing mouthwatering food, drink and entertainment.

Freshly Filleted Tuna, Butter Beer Donuts, Mahi Lettuce Wraps, James and the Giant Peach IPA, BBQ Parfaits, Coffee Cocktails, Small Batch Beer Jelly and all four North Florida craft distilleries under one roof? And that wasn’t even the half of it! Entertainment included DJ Vic Micolucci and a live rock performance from Banquet, and Photo Booth Fun courtesy of Pompy Portraits. Not to be out done were interactive Painting Demonstrations from Pinot’s Palette, Dry Styles from Drybar, Temporary Tattoos from Swan Tattoo, and a show-stopping entryway from Bold City Brochet, PRI Productions and Balloon Construction Company.

To top off the evening, Yelpers collectively raised $7000 for The Jacksonville Public Library! These generous donations will help support collections, employment resources, access to internet, literacy programs, children’s story hours, etc. for the 21 local branches in Jacksonville. We are incredibly humbled by the Yelp community for coming together to support this great, local organization.
