Gozamos, bailamos, y celebramos!! Last week the Nevada Museum Of Art was transformed the into an authentic Mercado Mexicano complete with restaurants, bakeries, and performances representing the true heart of the Mexican and Hispanic community of Reno-Sparks. Guests were greeted by the sweet and savory scents and sounds of Mexico, and encouraged to explore and enjoy the featured exhibit Miradas: Ancient Roots & Contemporary American Art. Along the way guests enjoyed traditional platillos including antojitos, tacos, carne asada, mariscos and more; washed down with horchatas, aguas frescas, micheladas, and margaritas. As if that wasn’t enough, there was bachata, ballet folklórico, floreadores and a little mezcal education to liven up the spirits! tasting class that taught our guests all about the history of this smoky agave drink. This incredible night could have not been possible without the help of all outstanding partners and vendor who all left us with corazones felices (happy hearts)! Check out the fantastic five star reviews and nearly 800 photos of the event here!
