North Bay Elites strapped on their hiking boots and embarked on a scenic four-mile-trek through Sonoma’s Shiloh Regional Park. In addition to the verdant hills, flower fields, and Redwood trees, there was plenty of wildlife to behold (birds, deer, horses, and lions and tigers and bears – oh MY!). At the midway point, we enjoyed a picnic beside a lovely lake and feasted on sandwiches, cookies, and mimosas from Mollie Stone’s Market. Once our bellies were full, we marched back to the “shire” like happy Hobbits. Yelp’s Hiking Club has quickly become a popular staple here in the North Bay and a fun way to explore our beautiful backyard (while also hitting our Fitbit goals).
