Red Roost Tavern, located inside the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Hotel downtown, is a contemporary farm to table restaurant focusing on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. RRT invited 30 lucky Yelpers to come check out the launch of their brand new happy hour. The night started out with cocktail demos from local vodka OYO and from there Yelpers were treated to a 4 course tasting menu including happy hour favorites like: poutine, crab cakes, and tomato blue cheese bisque. Yelpers also enjoyed sampling items from their dinner menu including: lamb lollipops with a spring pea puree, and seared Atlantic salmon.
The true star of the show came in the form of mini cheeseburgers for dessert. This whimsical dish featured a Nutella rice crispy treat packed between two donut buns, topped with strawberries and served up along side their crispy "churro fries!"
From start to finish everything was delicious, colorful, and creative. Hats off to Chef Jim Hanser and his team. But don't just take our word on the nights awesomeness!
