Native Hostel
What to expect: This hostel is for everyone, not just tourists. Coffee shop by day and bar by night means this place is as eclectic as Austin’s population. Lounge style seating is perfect for intimate conversations and trendy pictures.
“Three cheers for Native smashing the images I hold synonymous with the word hostel. Gone are the images of shirtless dirty boys in swim shorts and introduced are the images of a hip, stylish bar with incredible food.” – Madi F.
Antonellis Cheese Shop
What to expect: You never knew cheese could be this interesting. Antonelli’s is a tiny shop that packs a lot of flavor in their four walls. A must-try in Hyde Park and don’t forget to sample!
“They have their cheeses in the case from “mild to wild” and you can try whatever you want with your personal staff member to lead you through your cheesy journey. They were also really cool with smaller cuts to make a cheese board, which was just what we wanted!” – Lesley W.

Nightcap
What to expect: A dessert-lovers paradise, but caters to the foodies, too. Nightcap has is perfect for a night out or an after-dinner stop.
“I love Nightcap! It looks like a house that’s been converted into a nice place for desserts and drinks. The dinner menu looked good, but I was only here for dessert.” – Austin C.

Greetings From Austin Mural
What to expect: Austin has a lot of famous graffiti and this mural is one of the most spectacular pieces of art in the city. A quick stop to the south will give you some of the best photos to prove you were here.
“A great spot for a photo opp! The mural is vividly colorful and easy to find. There’s plenty of parking surrounding the area so need to worry about where to park your car for a few minutes. Stop by to take a picture for a keepsake. :)” – Patricia C.

Kitty Cohen’s
What to expect: Old-school bar complete with a pool to dip your feet in to.
“As most reviews say it’s so kitschy and retro and I totally felt like I was at someone’s super stylish 60s/70s home. They really did the theme right. The inside is super cute and inviting with themed things everywhere. They do have some seating inside but the patio is where it’s at.” – Pati M.

Holy Roller
What to expect: Dark and glamorous isn’t what you’d expect from a brunch all-day everyday spot, but Holy Roller is full of velvet, leather, and lace. Must love breakfast.
“But holy moly, now I know why. They serve brunch ALL DAY. If you don’t like that, you have no soul. Every starter and dish we tried were all delicious and I also ordered a milkshake too, because why not? I’m an adult and I just wanted to treat myself!” – Angie L.

Continental Club
What to expect: Classic jazz spot on South Congress that draws seasoned musicians and singers alike every night of the week.
“Catch me inside, slow dancing to jazz and engaging in deep conversations with friendly strangers. The Gallery at Continental Club is like a sweet, sweet, serenade to that inner tiny piece of your heart that longs to feel warmth from others and has a desire to be penetrated by music that is soulful. ” – Jannifer K.

Barbarella
What to expect: Sweaty, local dance bar that hosts themed dance parties every night of the week. Just remember to get there before 11PM to avoid those pesky door fees.
“Oh Barbs. This place is always an adventure. Every night is a different theme (music and people) but honestly, the only night that is worth it is Tuesday nights. It’s called “Tuesgayz” but honestly gay or straight…it is the most fun you will have downtown.”- Avery K.
