Every year, between February and March, baseball fans from across the U.S. flock to Arizona to cheer on their favorite teams in the Cactus League. The vibrant community here in Phoenix is the perfect host to visitors and has proven to provide lasting memories, year after year. Not only is our weather divine, the food scene is second to none, sports bars are packed, and hotel pools are buzzing. Bring your sunscreen and party hats because you’re about to have the time of your life! We’ve created this handy guide for locals and visitors alike, to ensure that you have a 5-star Spring Training experience in the Valley of the Sun.

Salt River Fields at Talking Stick – Home to the Arizona Diamondbacks & Colorado Rockies

“Great place to take in a Spring Training game. Every seat in the place offers great views. Wide variety of food vendors. Staff is helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are kept clean and tidy. Parking is fairly easy to find and navigate.” – Yelper Caletta G.

Camelback Ranch Stadium – Home to the Chicago White Sox & Los Angeles Dodgers

“We went to Camelback Ranch for Spring Training for the first time…and really loved the park. When walking up to the entrance, you already know that it’s going to be a good experience because you’re in a nice park-like setting…the hubs and I decided to share a footlong Sonoran dog.  It was really delicious…and huge!…What a great experience!” – Yelper Christa L.

“This was a very nice ballpark and an excellent choice to watch a Spring game…the grass parking for 5 bucks is plentiful. Based on my visits to other parks, this place has the best prices and a lot of choices to eat.” – Yelper Brad W.

Maryvale Baseball Park – Home to the Milwaukee Brewers

“This is my favorite ballpark. I say this not because I am a diehard Brewers fan (which I am) but because it is the most fan-friendly ballpark in the Valley. The tickets are also some of the cheapest. Gets no better.” – Yelper Rick T.

“One of my favorite stadiums out here in Arizona for Spring Training…I enjoy the food selection at this stadium the most including Treatery and Ike’s sandwiches. The loaded nachos were great and reminded me of home.” – Yelper Melanie S.

Peoria Sports Complex – Home to the San Diego Padres & Seattle Mariners

“I just love Peoria Sports Complex. I wish there were more events held here. They recently remodeled a bit. They put in a really nice, big splash pad and playground for the kids to enjoy during Spring Training and summer days. They keep the ground very clean, even the bathrooms are always sparkling. I also love that they have complimentary sunscreen in the bathrooms, such a big help and nice to have in the AZ sun.” – Yelper Ashley S.

“Angels Spring Training at Diablo was beyond amazing!…My seats were amazing, behind home plate about 6 rows up. I had a perfect view of the team. Allowed me the opportunity to capture my Angels in action with my camera…The venue doesn’t have a bad seat in it. Great food & beverages available. A must experience in my book!” – Yelper Liz R.
