Yelpers showed off their groovy side in Phoenix this Monday during Yelp's Sol Train at Sol Cocina. During the night, disco dollies and their soulful men sported their finest bell bottoms, afro wigs, tie dye and go-go boots while they enjoyed tasty cuisine and cocktails courtesy of Sol and delicious desserts from Sweet Tooth Fairy and more!
Yelpers entered the sol-train on a toasty Monday night only to be instantly greeted with a SnapBooth Entertainment photo booth and a buffet of food favorites from Sol Cocina. Sporting their finest 70's attire, yelpers grabbed a prop and struck a pose in the photo booth. After scoring their snap shot, Yelp Elites and their guests stopped by the first food station and tried some made-to-order guacamole station and two types of fresh ceviche. Throughout the night servers kept the yelpers full with Carnitas tacos, watermelon gazpacho, quesadillas and calamari steak.
DJ Hart Breaks kept the crowd lively with disco favorites. While yelpers enjoyed both skinny and regular margaritas as well as beers, disco balls and strobe lights turned SoL Cocina into funky town for the night. Classic 70's activities enticed yelpers, like decorate your own pet rock and bedazzle your own shot glass or key chain. Whether yelpers were eating, drinking, dancing, taking pictures or crafting, all mingled at some point with each other for Yelp-o where they got to know each other and turned in their cards for the chance to win a prize!
Before the night came to a sweet ending, yelpers chowed down desserts from Sweet Tooth Fairy and a dance instructor came in and taught the yelpers the hustle. John Travolta would be proud of the dancing queens in the house! Plus, each yelper left with a card good for a complimentary appetizer upon their return!
A special thank you goes out to Sol Cocina for hosting the yelpers, SnapBooth Entertainment, DJ Heart Breaks, Sweet Tooth Fairy and all the yelpers who came to the party! Check out the reviews and pictures from the night.
Until the next one, SYOY!
