Yelp’s BOOS & BREWS Halloween Bash at the Christian Moerlein Brewery!

30+ local businesses and over 500 Yelpers came out to celebrate a Halloween of Yelpy proportions at the Christian Moerlein Brewery on Halloween night!

"In my best Chandler Bing voice….Could this party BEEEEE any better?! This was the place to be on Halloween night!" Food, booze, music & dancing, "there was something for everyone! I can't wait to see what party Cindy has up her sleeve next for Cincinnati!" – Danae B

The event promised Brews and we brought 'em! Yelpers could sample delicious local flavor by Fifty West, Listermann, Rhinegiest, Mt. Carmel, The Lackman, and Christian Moerlein.

"The always amazing (and amazingly good for you) KIND snacks were handing out their new flavors to everyone. While we are talking healthy, Park + Vine made a artichoke spread…YUM! If you like garlic, this was definitely for you!" Other heatlhy eats included: Yagoot, Green Bean Delivery and you could wash it all down with a delicious drink from the DRY SODA co.

The highlight of the night for John B was having "Jimmy Gibson himself there serving up his Pork Butt Salad. If you've not been to Jimmy G's definitely check the place out!" 

The food didn't stop there! Savory lovers enjoyed light bites from Main Bite, J Gumbos, Mynt Martini, Gold Star Chili and no event would be complete without Keystone's famous Mac 'n' Cheese!

We had enough booze to keep the Queen of England happy! The crowd favorite had to be the Wolf's Blood bubbling martini from Mynt. Other favorites included the oyster shooter from Igby's, Campari, FB's, and Via Vite's champage cocktail.

"I loved Holtman's Donuts, which I'd been wanting to try after hearing friends rave about them. They did not disappoint. Also, the cupcakes from Gigi's were phenomenal!" – Lauren M

"What an amazing time we had!  There was great music, lots of cool costumes and the beer and martinis were worth getting dressed up on a chilly night!  The Moerlein Brewery was large and spacious so you had plenty of room to dance and mingle!  Thanks again Yelp and the sponsors for providing such an amazing night!" – Lori H

"There were so many options for things to do: chatting with friends, dancing to awesome music, sipping on drinks, eating delicious food, and…the best part…watching Hocus Pocus on the big screen! Amazing local entertainment included: Facepainting by Fabulous Faces by Jen, magic and comedy by That Old Brack Magic, DJ Handlon from El Coyote and giveaways by The Owens Group.

Spooky lighting was provided by Vincent Lighting Systems and House Calls was there keepin the event squeaky clean. They were even offering fun giveaways at their booth! Special shout out to Paul's Bus Service for keeping everyone dry and providing a warm shuttle service.
