PJ Clarke's – it's an institution with as storied a history as any other landmark in New York City. With roots planted along 3rd Ave way back in 1868, plenty of famous faces have called PJ Clarke's home. From Frank Sinatra claiming his seat at Table #20 to celebrities ranging from Jackie O to Nat King Cole… it was one of the original "who's who" destinations in Manhattan, and one of the main attractions was the delicious "simply on a bun" PJ Clarke Burger. It was so popular, in fact… they've scaled it out on their own in the form of Clarke's Standard! And this past Thursday, Yelpers had the chance to rub elbows with the brain trust behind Clarke's Standard while noshing an an array of burgers, copious amounts of fries, and even a Little Clarke's ice cream dessert. Be sure to check out Clarke's Standard's happy hour! Seven days a week from 3:00pm – close and enjoy a Clarke's Standard burger and a glass of beer for just $5.90. Might be one of the best deals in New York City, friendo.
