Could Yelp Without Borders 2019 have been the best one yet? We think so. A combination of incredible food vendors, delicious drinks, and perfect weather made Buffalo’s annual party at the International Institute of Buffalo a huge hit!
In support of the International Institute of Buffalo, which has been providing services for immigrants and refugees in the Buffalo area since 1918, we hosted a huge party at their mansion and encouraged guests to explore multicultural food that can be found right here in Buffalo!
Sizzle Reel by Brett Deneve
Each vendor put their best food forward during the event. La Verdad Cafe provided delicious brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw and barbecue, Sun Cuisines was dishing up some savory soup and noodles, and Mandarin Garden Restaurant offered some delicious crab rangoons and lettuce wraps. Bomba Arepa, who is fresh to the Buffalo food scene, served their delicious grilled Arepas, and La Casa De Sabores also showed their stuff during the event with their seasoned pollo and beef with rice. We were also very glad to welcome Lucy East African Cuisine and their spicy samplings, along with Obviously Avi and his unique take on dumplings, and Gourmet Lao Foods with their popular lotus cookies. Let’s not forget the dessert, with ice cream from Hertel Avenue Poutine & Cream!
Raising awareness for the International Institute is the goal – and altogether, we were able to raise a grand total of $3,040 for the International Institute of Buffalo! Huge thanks to all of the guests who came out in support of this fantastic institution.
