Yelp Tucson Kicks Off 2020 with Annual Yelptography Exhibit and Yelpies Awards

The Tucson Elite Squad kicked off 2020 with our Badge Day Celebration at the industrial-chic Rail Yard. Back by popular demand, our Yelptography photo exhibit highlighted top photos contributed by Yelp Elites in 2019 and featured everything from desertscapes to delectable dishes, beautiful table settings, and cocktails from around the city! Also new this year, we introduced the first annual Yelpies awards, which honored some of our Elite champions of 2019!

Attendees were welcomed with jams by Satyr Entertainment, bevvies hosted by Skyline Bartending and kombucha from Fermented Tea Company. Lets not forget the amazing bites from Sauce Pizza and Wine, Popcorn Country and a donut bar, too!

Guests mixed and mingled with the help of our “Find a Yelper” icebreaker game as while partaking in an interactive Tucson themed watercolor banner hosted by Creative Kind Shop. But the fun didn’t end there ––Tucson’s newest airstream photobooth leveled this party up with a one-of-a-kind picture experience!

The introduction of our first ever Yelpie Awards truly made this a night to remember. Select Yelp Elite Squad members received acknowledgments for a variety of categories that included Top Reviewer of 2019, Top Complimenter, Top Photographer of 2019, Yelptime Achievement Award, Newbie Impact Award and more. 

Hearts (and stomachs) were full, lots of selfies were taken, and so many compliments and props were given to those featured and who took home an award. We can’t wait to see what 2021 will bring!
