Yelp NC Train-Cation to Grove Winery

On Saturday, NC Yelpers from Charlotte, The Triad, and The Triangle came together for Yelp's Train-Cation to Grove Winery! Yelpers all got on board for complimentary Amtrak train rides to Burlington, NC.  Just a short drive from the Burlington train station, is the beautiful Grove Winery. Elite Transit came in style with their yellow school bus to transport our groups to the winery. Upon arrival Yelpers received a warm welcome from Grove Winery, owner Max Lloyd. There was a tasty lunch waiting for everyone from local Burlington restaurant Taaza Bistro, with tastes of both northern and southern style Indian cuisine. Be sure to check out their new location coming soon to Greensboro, NC.  Longhorn Steakhouse did not disappoint with their generous portions of chicken, steak, and mashed potatoes. Max led Yelpers through a generous wine tasting, seven wines to be exact including their award winning wines. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the NC countryside, relaxing and listening to the very talented, Caution The Grey from the Triad area. In case anyone got hungry on the train ride home, Pretzel Crisps were a great travel snack. Read all the amazing reviews here, and check out the incredible photos from Poprock photography on Flickr.
