Yelp names the top 50 wheelchair accessible restaurants for National Disability Pride Month

July is National Disability Pride Month, an important time to honor the diversity and uniqueness of each person in the disability community and celebrate people with disabilities. With more than 40 million people in the U.S. living with a disability, we wanted to make it as easy as possible to find the best places to dine for people with physical disabilities. 

In honor of National Disability Pride Month, we compiled a list of highly rated wheelchair-accessible restaurants across the United States using Yelp’s wheelchair-accessible attribute*. From a tropical-themed spot in Big Bear Lake, CA, to a waffle place in Hawaii, there are a variety of great eateries that provide a welcoming and comfortable space for wheelchair users. 

To create this list, we identified businesses in the restaurant and food categories on Yelp, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. All businesses included in this list must have the wheelchair-accessible attribute selected to be considered. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of July 8, 2022.
