On Tuesday, July 26th, Yelp celebrated summer in LA
In Little Tokyo at a gorgeous rooftop soiree!
Kyoto Grand Hotel's Pangea Garden provided quite the view
And the luscious landscape was pretty phenomenal too.
As the sun set and the stars shined brightly,
The casual crowd grew quite sprightly.
Beef Sliders, carnde asada skewers, spicy ahi tuna tartar,
Blackened shrimp with sausage, chicken kar-age, and bruschetta blew away guests, by far.
Four Leaf was also on site cooling us off with their shaved ice,
Featuring boba, fresh fruit, and green tea – very nice.
SuperFruit mojitos and Naughty Lemonades were crafted with Beluga Vodka and TY KU Liqueur,
Which paired perfectly with Randy D's Dodger Haiku.
The Poetry Slam showed off the talents of some brave Elites,
LIke Nick G's alliterative beats.
Jonathan T got us started with a cheeky poem about his Downtown dry cleaners,
Followed by Erin V, Harmonie T, Wendy S, and Michael F, our snazzy singers!
Mikey S, Adolfo H, Vince V, and Sophia W rounded out the creative group,
Showing that the Elite Squad really is an impressive, witty troop.
The wonderful evening ended with one last rhyme
That unveiled a gift from Yelp of Father Time.
Now girls and guys will proudly sport their nifty watch
As they fondly remember a night that was topnotch!
