March is an exciting month in Ohio…
All three of our Ohio Community Managers have been planning for quite some time, and their hard work is about to pay off big time, with a variety of events that will really make an impact… connecting people with amazing local charities in their communities!
With over 80 non-profits participating, Ohio yelpers are sure to find the perfect organization to "give back." Isn't that reason enough to throw a party? Or three of them? We think so! Coming this month are three incredible events at spectacular venues, tons of food, drink, and entertainment too… and it's all free with your RSVP.
Kicking off the festivities in just a couple of days (on 3/7) will be Yelp Helps in Columbus! Christina C has quite the night planned at the Westin Columbus, and it's not too late to get on the list. She's also planning some monthly VYEs (Volunteer Yelp Events), so keep your eyes on this talk thread for details.
Next up, Cara L is hosting the first ever Yelp Helps Cleveland event at the Shaker LaunchHouse. Mark your calendar for 3/29 and RSVP today! Quite possibly the largest Cleveland Yelp party to date, this is one event you won't want to miss.
And thanks to Alex S, Cincinnati yelpers are already gearing up for their month-end school-house themed finale with weekly volunteer service events throughout the city. These are open to everyone, as is the Yelp Helps After School Special (a giant party for a good cause) on 3/30 at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center.
We hope you'll do your part to give back and learn about the many volunteer opportunities in your community. Mixing and mingling with passionate yelpers, non-profits, and business owners has never been this much fun. Oh, and the papparazzi may be there as well. Don't say we didn't warn you!
