On the eve of October 1st, Elite Yelpers across the states were made privy to Outback's brand new appetizer and drink menu; a fantastic array of $4 specialites that'll be available to the public next week! Fort Worth Yelpers gathered at the sparkling new Outback location in Hurst – the only Outback in Texas that's been completely remodeled on the inside and out. The atmosphere was marvelous and the food and drinks were nothing less!
We indulged in an endless bounty of fabulous hors d'oeuvres and delightful drinks. The appetizers ranged from coconut shrimp and steakhouse nachos to homemade BBQ chips and beautiful flatbreads. "The margherita flatbread? Insanely good," wrote Rae C. And Tae S admitted that the bushman "mushrooms were calling my name. Or maybe it was the chips… Jeez I can't pick!"
We sipped on several cold bevvies, including cider, wine, an apple martini, raspberry sangria, Aussie rum punch, and a gold coast 'rita. Tommy H thought "the crisp apple martini was particularly delicious with just a hint of spice," and Tim L noted that "somehow" he "was able to sample everything without passing out at the table!"
To top it all off, Outback provided Yelp with an incredible gift basket (filled with shiny grilling tools, steak knives, salt & pepper grinders, coasters, and more), and two $20 giftcards to boot! We played a riveting round of Australian-themed Bingo to determine the winners of these generous prizes. Congratualtions to Rae C and Shane F! "I loved the bingo game we played," said Reena D, who "was a little jealous that Rae won. Give me that basket!"
An enormous thank you to Outback for treating Yelp Elites to an awesome night of fantastic fare and fun! Check out reviews and pics of Yelp's Outback Adventure, and look forward to ordering from their new bar menu in the very near future.
