What happens when Yelp Baltimore Elites set sail on a pirate cruise fueled by Jim Beam beverages and Day of the Dead festivities? One killer Elite Event, that's what! "Yelp's Day of the Dead Boat Bash w/ Jim Beam" was a mashup up between traditional Mexican holiday fanfare and a poppin' pirate party, setting sail throughout the Inner Harbor.
Upon arriving at the dock, Elites got their fill of Mexican munchies before boarding and meeting a makeup artist who transformed them all into the Sugar Skull of their choosing.
"Th' Inner Harbor 'n weather was perfect 'n th' views from th' boat were beautiful," says newly-minted pirate, Elite Dan A. "Once on th' boat, we got pirate names, temporary tattoos, 'n lots 'n lots 'o drinks. ARRR! Jim Beam generously brought a bunch 'o drinks includin' Cruzan Spiced Rum, Cruzan Velvet Cinn Horchata, Devils Cut Whiskey, Jacobs Ghost White Whiskey, Hornitos Lime Shot Tequilla, Pinnacle Vodka 'n various Skinnygirl Wines. ARRRR! We had conga lines, limbo, 'n even got to shoot water cannons from our boat."
Larissa J's jaw dropped as well: "Who knew there were so many products that were produced by Jim Beam? What an amazing variety of drinks! The Jacobs Ghost served with lemon-lime soda was definitely a favorite of my boyfriend."
The cruise was spent dancing to the ship's resident Pirate DJ and playing a ton of pirate games including 'Pass the Coconut,' Limbo, and a bunch of dance-offs! "Everyone was just so accommodating and ready for a good time, which easily made it all come together! I had a great time shakin' me booty!" Devonshire B exclaims.
"I appreciated the opportunity to do something that wasn't considered run-of-the-mill and have the ability to meet some new mates," Brandi P says.
And, thanks to Jim Beam, the good times are likely to keep going. After this event, Kamilah K "definitely can't wait to bring a little Jim Beam to family on Thanksgiving." Cheers to that!
Until the next time: SYOY!
