Yelp Elite Event: The Steak Escape at LongHorn Steakhouse

On the evening of August 22^nd, LongHorn Steakhouse hosted an incredible dinner for Phoenix Elites. Guests enjoyed a night full of mingling, steak education, LongHorn Montana Mules, and of course indulging in delicious eats!

LongHorn’s friendly team kicked off the night by passing around appetizers and their delicious house made bread. From the Wild West Shrimp and Fried Green Tomatoes, to their new Steakhouse Seasoned Wings – Elites grew more and more excited for the night to come. For the second course, Elites were able to choose from a Mixed Green Salad, LongHorn Chili, or Loaded Baked Potato Soup – talk about the royal treatment! Once the first course was complete, the most exciting part of the evening came. The LongHorn team brought out 3 cuts of meat (grilled to perfection) for Elites to try before choosing what to order for their main course. They tasted the Hickory Salt Crusted Filet, a New York Strip, and an 18 oz. Outlaw Ribeye! Each cut was seasoned differently and it is safe to say that this tasting experience had Elites ordering outside of their go-to cuts. A highlight of the evening was when the management team facilitated a Q&A session. Elites had impressive questions and learned all kinds of interesting facts about this lovely restaurant family.

As the beautifully plated meals came out of the kitchen, jaws dropped and mouths began to water. Photos were snapped, and Elites could hardly wait to dig in! As bellies grew full of juicy steaks and rich sides, the thought of dessert seemed distant and unimaginable. That’s until LongHorn’s Strawberries & Cream Shortcake and the Chocolate Stampede were placed in front of them. Without a doubt, guests made room for these decadent treats. But wait, we’re not done yet! As the night came to an end, the LongHorn team passed around $25 gift cards to each guest as a thank you for coming! Is this real life? Elites said their farewells and thank you’s to the LongHorn team and to one another. Just like that, another 5-star Elite affair was in the books!
