Yelp Denver's Ski School Elite Event

In honor of Denver's ski scene and everyone out there itching to sport their best neon ski suits, Yelp Denver hosted 2013's first elite event: Yelp's Ski School elite event at new and über popular bowling alley, restaurant, and bar – Punch Bowl Social.

Guests were privy to hefty pours of Deschutes Brewing's Obsidian Stout
and event favorite, the White IPA. Margaret A "who kept going back for more" graciously thanks Deschutes for making her "Saturday afternoon that much more eventful. And Nancy F "Absolutely loved the White IPA." That's "like a wheat beer and IPA, the best of both." Agave based and hand-crafted Blue Nectar Tequila was also onsite serving up some sensational sips of their Reposado, Silver, and Special Reserve. As an incredible asset the Welcome Punch provided by Punch Bowl, "the tequila was also smooth and exquisite on it's own," according to Jeff S. For Pixie M, the That Blue Agave Tequila punch went down a little too easy and loves how it
was described as "a little sweet, but the jalapeno kick covers it."

Plentiful rounds of
pretzel beer bites, spicy buffalo wings, delectable short rib nachos,
crab cake bites, and more were had by all courtesy of Punch Bowl Social. Lindy L describes the wings to crispy "perfection on the outside, but moist on the inside and had a nice kick," while Demitri R ponders who knew crab salad on potato chips would be such an "awesome combination?! Fresh real crab was used. My taste buds know the difference," he asserts.

And it's no ski school event without the 1991
film that inspired the theme, playing in the background. To top off all
the fun, guests had the option to take a shot from the shot ski with their trusty CM, bowl in our
