Yelp Denver’s April Secret Supper at Piatti Risorante & Bar

When the moon hits your eyes like a big pizza pie…That's Yelpore! What a wonderful evening spent at Italian eatery, Piatti Ristorante & Bar, for Yelp Denver's April Secret Supper. Denver yelpers were privy to a abundant menu bursting with all those Italian flavors we know and love. To kick off the evening, guests were greeted with a generous glass of Prosecco courtesy of Bisol "Jelo" Prosecco Brut.

Bread and delicious olive oil started the dinner off as guests sipped on Prosecco and mingled with fellow yelpers. A tough choice between a classic Caeser Salad with anchovies or Prosciutto-wrapped grilled Romaine was available to our hungry diners. Alissa R chimes on what the crowd favorite was: "Everyone was gaga over the Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Romaine, as they should have been because it was awesome!"

Next up was the impressive array of three very different dishes – the Penne Bolognese, The Veal Scalopinne stuffed with prosciutto, sage and fontina with a braised spinach and potato puree, and the Seared Salmon 'alla piccata,' white wine, capers, shallots, with butter, spinach, and potato puree. Among this spread of savory goodness it was definitely difficult to decide just which one to order. Decisions, decisions. The life of a yelper can be so trying at times.

To wrap up the mouth-watering event, dessert was in order. Good thing, Italian sweet samples, Panna Cotta and Tiramasu, fixed the sweet teeth in the house. Piatti certainly put out all the stops and wined and dined us. In fact, "Piatti's wasn''t a place that was on Lindy L's list of to-try places, but it's now on my list of places to visit again."
