Yelp Cleveland’s VIP Day At The Museum

This April, Yelp Cleveland Elites and their families were treated to a special VIP Day at the Great Lakes Science Center. Located on the picturesque North Coast Harbor, the Great Lakes Science Center makes science, technology, engineering, and math come alive. As the closing event to Yelp’s Cinema Celebration, this very special experience had all ages playing and experimenting.

The day began with complimentary admission through three floors of hands-on, interactive exhibits. Little and big Yelpers explored the NASA Glenn Visitor Center, built their way through the Cleveland Creates Zone and became a mad scientist for the day with live demonstrations! We’re not sure who had more fun: the adults or the children. The afternoon continued with a private reception courtesy of GLSC catering. Yelper families snacked on delicious flatbreads, popcorn and desserts while enjoying the views of Lake Erie.Elites were then ushered into the impressive Cleveland Clinic DOME Theater for a screening of “Incredible Predators.” This newly remodeled theater sits under a giant, six stories high domed screen that surrounds you with breathtaking, multi-story images and 11,600 watts of ultra-real digital sound. The theater now features the world’s first giant dome three-projector, laser-illuminated projection system.

As Elite Bridget B described, “None of us had ever been to this theater and it was an indescribably awesome experience.
