Yelpers enjoyed a hot time (pun intended) in this cool space slathered in old school cameras, equipment and Polaroids. As guests milled around they were treated to mounds of cheesy, loaded nachos, mushroom risotto and lardo crustinis from the decadent menu at Tremont Tap House. And what better way to chill out then with locally brewed smoked cream ale from Cleveland Action Brewery.
Owner Scott M, offered up instant, black and white portraits of all the guests and you'd better believe we brought some quirky props to make 'em really pop. And in true photo shoot fashion, we wanted to make sure everyone looked their best for their shot. So, two stylists from Eddy's On Coventry where there giving our guests some awesome 'dos. Each "model" got to not only take their portraits home with them, but they could also whip up something cool to put it in at the yelpy make-your-own frame station. Meanwhile, Lost Jon & The Ghosts got back to their roots and played some sweet acoustic tunes for the bash.
Yelpers and guests also participated in a photo scavenger hunt using the handy-dandy Yelp mobile app. They studied five tricky clues about objects in and around the shop and then uploaded the pics to the party listing. The first yelpers who got all five items correctly and uploaded the pictures won. Congrats to Carl A for winning a free Polaroid camera, discount film coupon from Aperture, tickets to covetted wine event, L'Amour du Vin and much more!
To sum it all up, Cami T said it best: " Great crafts. Great venue. Great people. I love these parties and am glad Cara got me off my seat and into this awesome little shop! I'll be back soon – so great!"
