Yelp Cleveland Does The Dip @Alpha Dance Studio

Over 50 Cleveland Elites put on their boogie shoes this past Monday and did the dip with Alpha Dance Studio!

As guests shimmied in to the large ballroom, they were greeted with the smells of a delicious, homemade Italian spread, thanks to Piccolo. We're talking about mussels, fried and stuffed rice balls, pizza, antipasta, caprese skewers and pizzelle cookies—all complimentary, of course!

Everyone needs a little liquid confidence once in a while and Elites worked up their nerves with Humble Bee Vineyard's locally made meads. They busted out several honey wines, including a chocolate strawberry, pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon—and Elites got unlimited samples of 'em all!

After all hunger was met and courage was working, Alpha Dance Studio's competition instructor, Tony, hosted a group salsa lesson. Instructors and students from Alpha also pitched in, making sure each Elite got the help they needed to get their boogie on. Afterwards, everyone was treated to samba, waltz, silver foxtrot and tango showcases, two by professional dancers!

And to end the show, prizes! Our event check-in prize for the evening was a bottle of pumpkin spice honey wine, thanks to Humble Bee Vineyards. Two Elites each won tickets to Yellowcake Shop's upcoming fashion show + fundraiser, coming this November 8th. The show features locally made looks by Valerie Mayen, who was on Project Runway. Elites won two general admission tickets and two front row seat tickets. And that's not all! Thanks to Alpha Dance Studio, Elites won tons of schwag, like a duffle bag, t-shirt and free dance lessons. But all guests won this evening when everyone left with a voucher for one free dance lesson.

Amanda L summed it up best: " Super fun prizes like a dance package, wine, duffle bag and events tickets. I really enjoyed this event; I was nervous about dancing but Tony and his staff/students really put everyone at ease."
