Yelp Cincy’s Never Ending St. Patty’s Day Party!

Just when your head stopped spinning from the last one, Yelp Cincinnati decided to do St. Patty’s Day all over again.

Taking over the back private area and the fantastic outdoor patio right on the Ohio River. Yelpers came out to Claddagh Irish Pub for a night of fantastic food, drinks, prizes and excellent company at Yelp's Never Ending St. Patrick's Day Party!

“Energizing – that's how I'll describe it after a long work day. Once we arrived and greeted with excitement and so many wonderful things going on. How could you not feel energized? Positive vibes all around. We loved to talk to so many awesome yelpers and meet a few new ones.” Ann L declared

When Yelpers entered the room, they were greeted with a warm smile and a giant table full of classic Irish dishes: scotch eggs, mushrooms on toast, breaded chicken, braised lamb and more.

Then, when people thought they could eat no more, it was time for dessert including bread puddings, mango sherbet chocolate mousse and lemon pies. The works.

To wash it all down was a rainbow selection of beers, from Harps to Smithwick's (with free Smithwick's glasses) to Guinness – the local Guinness rep was even on hand, teaching yelpers the proper way to pour one.

“Mike the rep did a fantastic job of showing the Guinness Proper Pint. I had no idea ordering a Guinness was so complicated. Barkeeps must hate that. Apparently, Guinness needs special attention as it is the world's first nitrogen inflation beer,” Scott M told us.  

Not enough? How about a little Irish Whisky with free Killbeggans. Ah yes, just grand.

It was Claddagh’s beautiful back room, with the beautiful wood beams and tables, and outdoor patio on the gorgeous April Day, that really made the event shine.

“You can always tell when an event has been a complete success. People just keep hanging out even after the drinks stop flowing. And people were still around until almost 10,” according to Stacey L.
