The Yelp Chicago 'Burbs Elite community enrolled in 5-courses of 5-star higher ale education taught by our good friends over at Tenth and Blake Beer Co in coordination with Town & Country Distributing. Chicagoland Elites beat the 100+ degree heat with perfect pours paired by the one and only Jeff Miller of Tenth and Blake Beer Co along with 5-courses of mouthwatering delights by Chef Vince of Bogart's at the Premier, that ensured Yelp's elites would be in for a very hoppy Humpday.

The scene was set for this posh party at the Premier within Muvico of Rosemont. Guests rolled up their rides, greeted by Muvico's VIP valet service, and were swiftly whisked away to the penthouse-level digs of Bogart's, where they were greeted with choice of ice cold Coors Light or Miller Light, served as both a palatte cleaser and mild nerve-number to go along with the BIG Tenth and Blake beer pop-quiz, where Yelp elites were able to thwart any possibility of post-event prohibition with their brew-minded brains while munching on Muvico's gourmet, theater-style popcorn. Poppin' bottles and poppin' popcorn… That's how we do!

Floored by the first course of Tomato Basil Flatbread and Peroni Nastro Azzurro international-style pilsner, Clifford S declares this his favorite fizzer and predicts: "I can see myself drinking a Peroni in the very near future." While over the second course of Crab Cakes with Pineapple Relish and Chipotle Mayonnaise paired with Blue Moon, Misty S discovered that "Blue Moon goes impeccably well with seafood." and notes, "Bogart's crab cakes are some of the best I've ever had." Not a crabby face in the crowd!

Pierre D dishes on all the third course deets and braces us with a gourmet warning: "This isn't your childhood Mac & Cheese, yo! It's an artesian mac & cheese, served a la bogarts with smoked applewood bacon, roasted red pepper in a spicy cheese sauce topped with a toasted panko bread crumbs paired with Worthington's White Shield, a special English IPA that's new to the American Market. It was much less hoppier than the American counterpart and I think it was a good mellow beer, and left me wanting more." Taylor M's mouth was salivating over the fifth course of boneless braised short ribs served with a Batch 19 demi-glazed with sauteed vegetables and garlic mash potatoes paired with Batch 19, "so tender you could cut it with a fork." Un-forking believable!

The fifth and final course pretzel bread pudding topped with vanilla bean ice cream and a Wee Heavy Scotch Ale caramel drizzle, with a touch of pretzel salt paired with Big Eddy Wee Heavy by JLBC. We couldn't imagine a sweeter way to end an educational evening that taught several dozen brew-newbs a bit of beer geek-ery without the snobbery.
Check out what everyone's saying about this exclusive elite event here and peep the pics from our ever flashy photog, Andres D (facebook, twitter), who snapped shots of everything from the food, the brew, the crew and the 50+ overstuffed gift bags provided by Town and Country (facebook, twitter) with goodies from Tenth and Blake Beer Co (facebook, twitter), Muvico (facebook, twitter), Chef Vince and Bogart's (facebook, twitter) and Yelp (facebook, twitter). One thing's for sure, these Yelpers got schwagger!

Thanks to all the Elites for coming out and a big thank you goes out to experts in the field and generous hosts, Jeff Miller and Tenth and Blake Beer Co, Rebecca Pray and Town and Country Distributing, Andres D, Muvico Rosemont, as well as Chef Vice and Bogart's At The Premier for a truly unforgettable evening and 5-star event!
