This past Friday, over 100 Chicago Suburban Elites gathered for Yelp Art Attack! at the Glitch Gallery for a vibrant dose of fresh local art as well as an acoustic set from local musician Scottie Long. While peeping the art exhibit, guests noshed on rave-worthy flatbreads, assorted cheese and meats, chocolate truffles and sampled a selection of wines from Flight 112 Wine House. If that wasn't enough to whet guests' spirited palates, lychee, apple, and Cosmopolitan martinis made with organic Rain Vodka delivered on the buzz as did Kraken Rum cocktails. Trumer Pils and Shiner Bock beers also made a very welcome appearance!
Yelpers love some pampering and the attached Effigy Salon and Park Avenue Wellness Center made good on their promises of prettification and relaxation. Some guests sprung for a complimentary hair styling while others had their brows shaped into beautiful arches. Still others chose rejuvenating anti-aging treatments while several opted for precision hair cuttery. By the end of the evening, one thing was certain: everyone enjoyed the benefits of local creativity in some shape or form. Be sure to read the reviews here and check out all the fabulous photos!
Until next time, SYOY!
