It's Brooklyn (read: we go hard). So even though some people might have cowered under their desk for hours afterward (this guy), like Sarah B says, "There was no way in hell an earthquake was going to keep my ass from showing up at this event." Because last night the best of Brooklyn Yelp took a [fine] dive into Do or Dine.
You might've heard tell of this avant-garde eatery as a result of their foie gras doughnuts, but there's much more on this menu that's worth a walk down Bedford Ave. Justin, George and the rest of the pabulum professionals in the kitchen put out a stellar spread for the Yelp Elite, including deviled E666s topped with baby octopus, a wonderful wedge salad, their tender, fatty lamb breast and the coup de grace: a whole suckling pig. Take it from Ryan B: "This event is definitely going to be near the top of my "Tastiest Food Adventures of My Life" list.
21st Amendment provided their badass Back in Black IPA to get the party started, and Coors kept it going along with the Calypso Cup, a delicious pisco cocktail courtesy of Do or Dine FOH man Luke's lovely wife. A huge thank you goes out to her and the rest of their staff for welcoming the Yelp Elite with open arms. One thing is sure: this spot specializing in fine diving (the very best in unique drunkfood) is doing big things over in the Stuy, and I'll see you back there VERY soon.
