Yelp Bristol Elites had an amazing night at Clifton Cakes, making Chocolate Truffles while sipping on some well deserved Bubbles.
Frances, the owner of Clifton Cakes, taught us how to smell, hold and most importantly taste chocolate properly before taking us into the workshop to get started. With our plastic pinny's on, we sat down to personalised Elite cakes and trays of hand crafted truffle moulds. There were huge bowls of chocolate ganache to be flavoured as we please; mint, orange, ginger, coffee – it was all there. We then piped in our chosen flavours, decorated them until they looked beautiful and boxed them up to be eaten at home (or in the car). The cakes on display were incredible and the chocolate shoes just showed how talented a chocolatier Frances really is.
