To determine this list, Yelp’s team of Data Scientists looked at businesses with the woman-owned business attribute in a variety of categories. From the candidate businesses, we narrowed down the list through weighing a variety of factors, including a national presence, recent inclusion in Yelp Collections, average rating and review counts. Finally, we used human curation to identify trendsetting businesses in Texas.
