Earlier in the month, Yelp Detroit was lucky enough to present an exclusive Elite Experience at the legendary and historic Motown Historical Museum! The Motown brand is recognized around the globe, and it all started at a little house on West Grand Boulevard in Detroit. Today, the Hitsville USA House is home to the Motown Museum, celebrating its 30th anniversary of preserving and presenting the authentic Motown story. At this event, Elites enjoyed a private tour of Hitsville USA and walked in the footsteps of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, and Smokey Robinson, sang a few notes in Studio A, and learned about the innovations, creativity and entrepreneurship that made the Motown Sound one of the most influential in American music.
In addition to the tour, guests were also treated to some Motown Museum pizza from Buddy’s Pizza, brews from Batch Brewing Company, and sips of some of Detroit’s own Faygo. It was a fantastic celebration of all things Detroit and we’re excited to share the photos by Doug Coombe with you here as well as all those 5 star reviews over here.
