Our Women’s History Month efforts at Yelp focus on education, celebration and calling attention to the barriers that still stand in the way of gender equality. This includes honoring the impact women have made on U.S. History, highlighting employees across the company, featuringwomen-owned businesses, supporting women-focused nonprofits, and igniting intersectional conversations that spur action.
Out of the millions of local businesses on Yelp, many are owned by hard-working ladies. To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th and Women’s History Month this March, we’re rolling out a free “Women Owned Business” decal for boss ladies.
So how can women business owners get their hands on these window decals? Just fill out this form by Friday, March 22. The storefront stickers will be sent directly to the business in the mail. Feel free to reach out to your local Community Manager if you have any further questions.
79% of American female entrepreneurs report feeling more empowered than they did five years ago, and we want businesses across the country to feel just as empowered by letting their loyal customers and potential customers know they’re proudly women-owned.
