Four hours at the gym on a Friday night might not sound like a hot party, but last week Vegas Elites, Shine Alternative Fitness and Zero Gravitea proved that a fabulous Friday fitness throwdown is the place to find the sveltest high-fliers around. Without a doubt, Yelp Elites felt the best burn in Las Vegas thanks to Elite Spring Training at Shine. (Trust us: It's not your father's gym…unless he is a superfly acrobat.)
Founders Russ Petroni and Dima Shine have a long, accomplished history with performing arts, and their passion for artistry and fitness were demonstrated throughout the evening with a taste of some very unboring classes including Anti-Gravity Yoga, Xtreme Boxing, Pole Fitness and Aerial Arts (just like the circus!). Every class was taught by nationally-acclaimed instructors, such as the reigning gold medalist in the American Pole Fitness Championship. Yelpers were able to sample four classes, and some took advantage of one-on-one Gyrotonic instruction. Only Shine Alternative Fitness could have provided an evening combining artistry with working out.
Zero Gravitea, located at Shine Alternative Fitness, was on hand sampling their delicious, custom-blended hot teas and two of their top selling smoothies: Classic Strawberry/Banana and the Java Jolt with espresso beans. During downtime, Yelpers battled at Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four and took a second to show off their new physiques. And, for those that needed a cold beer, Scooter's Pub down the street provided the hard-working crew with a round of complimentary brews after the event!
Until next time, strech it to the limits!
