Thanks to the Dirty Apron Cooking School, on Wednesday, July 16th, 2017, the Vancouver Elites were able to take their cooking skills and tastebuds to Hawaii for the night. Under the guidance of Chef Takashi, the Elites were instructed how to cook a 3-course Hawaiian meal, where they learned how to cook the dish, fired up the grills to cook it on their own, then happily ate their creations.
First up was the ginger soy tuna poke on a bed of crispy rice. Second, was the macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi paired with fennel and papaya salad. Third, was the pineapple and sake roasted kurobata pork chop. To top it all off, at the end we were treated to housemade Kahlua ice cream. By the third meal, it was safe to say that each and every chef was stuffed.
A 5-star interactive experience for all who were involved.
