5 Places Locals Love in Stockholm, not the usual tourist attractions!
A small oasis in the city, calm and green, perfect to relax after a busy day. And if you are feeling more adventurous, there are canoes and kayaks to rent, and why not take a swim at the beach.
This is where you need to go for that unbeatable panorama view of Stockholm – there simply isn’t a better place for that. If you’re in Stockholm and it’s not raining, then you absolutely must visit Monteliusvagen. It would probably still be worth it in the rain….
Hötorgshallen is one of my absolute favorite food markets in Stockholm. This place might get a bit touristy in the day, but if you head there early in the morning, you can browse in peace.
Just a short bus ride away, high up above the water is this incredible sculpture park built by an art loving couple, surreal. Perfect place to take your time and walk around, finish off with lunch or coffee, it will be excellent.
5. Oaxen Slip
It’s always a great idea to go to Oaxen Slip after a lovely stroll in Djurgården. The modern Nordic cuisine that is being served by the knowledgeable and attentive staff is very ambitious and delicious.
