Yelp’s Top 50 Places to Eat is a list unlike any other “best of” out there. Sure, you’ll see your obvious local favorites on the list, but it’s also chock full of hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path joints like Crack tucked away at the Bixby Village Golf Course, shelling out their famous bacon jam burgers. From fine dining to shawarma food trucks — find them all in Yelp’s Top 50 Places to Eat in Long Beach.

Yelpers say: “Friendly neighborhood coffee shop with a modern vibe. We had the Cuban sandwich and an açaí bowl. Both were delicious and “made with love” I had the Brazilian matcha latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet…light and fresh just the way I like it.”

Yelpers say: “We tried the Dirty Bird and the Bacon Jam burgers and we were split on which one we loved more (Dirty Bird gets my vote). The owner Dave is super friendly and accommodating. Eating here feels like you’re having burgers in a friend’s backyard. It’s amazing. You’ll understand what I mean when you try it.” -Shant C

Yelpers say: “I loved the pizza I chose which was the Speck N Zaa because I love the arugula, lemon and Parmesan cheese combination. The lemon kinda balances out the peppery flavor of the arugula. 5 stars for their service, convenient online ordering system and of course, their food! We would definitely come back but to dine in this time so we can try out their other pizzas and their beer.” -Sharon R

The service and vibes are incredible, everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable about the foods they are making. The chef makes so many great pastries and balanced dishes, with local finds. We identified businesses in the restaurant category on Yelp, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews. This list looked at businesses in the Long Beach area.  All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of June 30 2022. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of June 30, 2022.
