One of the things we never run out of here in Coastal Virginia are delicious eats, so we’ve compiled the top 50 places to eat in Coastal Virginia 2021. From grab-and-go spots to fine dining restaurants, everyone ranging from different palates, dietary preferences and/or restrictions with any budget, can find something to enjoy.

Methodology: This is a list of the top places to eat in Coastal Virginia according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the restaurant and food categories, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. This list looked at businesses in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton, Williamsburg, Poquoson and Cape Charles. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of November 2021. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of November 2021.
