That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the top 50 spots to get your grub on in Coastal Virginia. Twenty-seven of these businesses have opened within the last five years, nearly half represent international cuisines, and unsurprisingly for our seaside community, a seafood restaurant snagged the #1 spot! We identified businesses in the restaurants category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews. This list looked at businesses in the cities of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Newport News, and Hampton. If a business with multiple locations appeared on the list more than once, we only included the highest rated location. All businesses on this list were marked as open as of November 3, 2020. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of November 2, 2020.
