To the surprise of nobody, the top of the restaurant list is Gazali’s. We featured the owner MJ in our Behind The Dream series last year where we feature Immigrant owned businesses though out North America. He is truly passionate about food and customer experience. 

On the drink side of things, Des Moines top Bar in 2018 was.. drum roll please…  Cooper’s On 5th. With it’s incredible selection of beers and wine, and marvelous martinis, this quaint hot spot is perfect for impressing that special someone come Valentine’s Day. If you can get a seat that is.
