Yelp’s 25 most photographed businesses in Tampa Bay is a list unlike any other “best of” out there. Sure, you’ll see your obvious local favorites on the list, but it’s also chock full of hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path joints like Ella’s Americana Folk Art Cafe in the heart of Seminole Heights. Topping this year’s list of 25 most photographed businesses in Tampa Bay is Ulele, pronounced you-lay-lee, this local icon is one of the newest in the Gonzmart Family of restaurants. It is located in a beautifully restored water pumping station from 1903 overlooking the Hillsborough River.

What they’re known for:  Ulele is a native-inspired restaurant and brewery, using fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood from Florida. They are known for barbacoa grilling, house-brewed beers, and incredible views of the Tampa Riverwalk.

The menu is a dazzling lineup of dishes that seem familiar but have been creatively redefined using fresh ingredients. 2. Bern’s Steakhouse (Tampa, FL)

What they’re known for:  Bern’s is Tampa’s most famous steakhouse. Praised for the perfectly aged steaks. Renowned for having one of the largest wine collections in the world. And perhaps most well known for their internationally famous dessert room.

3. Columbia Restaurant (Ybor City, FL)

What they’re known for:  Columbia Restaurant was established in 1905 and remains owned and operated by the same family even today. The Spanish restaurant specializes in tapas, paellas, and private-barrel liquors. Every meal starts with delicious Cuban bread and butter.

What they’re known for:  Datz is anything but ordinary. They pride themselves on being a playground for your taste buds. Most known for their outrageous and creative takes on regional comfort foods along with impressive plating and the colorful environment.

Yelpers say: “Datz is one of my favorite places to go and they never disappoint! Their menu is full of unique and absolutely delicious plates. I can’t get enough of this place. Some of my favorite items are the waffles n ‘tweet, frozé, the stuffed meatloaf, and the buffalo cauliflower. ” -Joan A.
