In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, we dug through Yelp data to find the top Indian eatery in every state. Though we crave mouthwatering Indian cuisine all year long, there is no better time to celebrate these beloved businesses. 

From classic dishes like garlic naan, biryani and spicy curries to modern Indian fusion fare, there is no shortage of variety on this list. Enjoy a meal paired with a refreshing cocktail in the ornately decorated dining room at Royal Taj in Maryland or grab some street cart samosas and chaat from Mysttik Masala in NYC. This list has something to satisfy every palette and every budget. 

Not in the mood to dine out? No problem. Nearly one third of mentioned businesses offer takeout and delivery directly via Yelp. Read on to find out which Indian eatery made the list in your state. 

Methodology: This is an all-time list of the Best Indian Eateries in each State according to Yelp. We identified businesses in the Indian category on Yelp, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews. This list looked at businesses in the United States. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of April 22nd, 2022. When available, all businesses on this list have a passing health score as of April 22nd, 2022.
